BENJAMIN CHARCHIAN, ESQ
As an undergraduate at UCLA Mr. Charchian was trained in Political Science,
International Relations, Psychology, Law and History. It was here that Mr.
Charchian understood the interplay between large companies, governments and
the people they serve. Seeing, for example, how a large company, driven by a
profit motive, can choose to pollute a river with toxic waste, jeopardizing people's
health to save capital, made Mr. Charchian develop a desire to stand up for the
rights of the injured.
To enable him to realise his goal Mr. Charchian attended Law School at
Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. There, not only did his passion
strengthen, but he developed the tools necessary to pursue it. Immediately upon
graduation, Mr. Charchian took the California State Bar Exam and was admitted to
practice in California.
Wasting no time, Mr. Charchian entered employment at a respectable Los Angeles
plaintiff's civil litigation firm. There he worked on a multitude of cases from large
multinational class-actions involving billion-dollar companies with hundreds of
millions at stake, to smaller personal injury matters.
Despite his far-reaching work, Mr. Charchian's most satisfying case involved a
simple car accident where the driver had broken her wrist and developed Carpal
Tunnel Syndrome as a result (Coronado v. Chang, LASC Case No. BC347501).
From her condition, Plaintiff a 15-year sewing machine operator, with no other
skills, could no longer use her hand. This was devastating since she could not get
another job and was forced to live in poverty. Even though liability in the accident
was clear, the insurance company refused to make payment. Through Mr.
Charchian's efforts the case settled on the morning of trial for $95,000 ($5,000 less
than the max policy limit). This enabled Plaintiff to get corrective surgery and
continue to live a productive life.
Currently, Mr. Charchian is the principle of Glendale, California based Benjamin
Charchian & Associates. Through that practice, he is able to continue his mission
